Topki School

For our project at School 8 in the city of Topki we revamped educational spaces to create an environment that fosters innovation and inclusivity.

From wardrobe-houses instead of plain solid wall of closets in the original design to transparent wall of the Biology classroom – we tried to reshape the learning experience for students and make it as interesting and enjoyable as possible.

School 30, Novokuznetsk

The dedicated teachers and staff at School #30 in Novokuznetsk are committed to supporting children with severe speech impediments. Recognizing the importance of providing these children with the very best, we endeavored to create a welcoming environment where they feel truly at home. Given the absence of a dining hall, we transformed a recreational area into a vibrant space flooded with invigorating light and color. Capitalizing on heightened senses of the kids we designed a bright music hall that aids in speech development through auditory stimulation. The recreation hall on the second floor doubles as a stage and assembly hall, providing versatile spaces for various activities. By incorporating vibrant colors into the gym, we aimed to enhance sports activities, further fostering speech development. In this holistic approach, every element is interconnected, working in harmony to support the children’s growth and well-being.

A very special school for very special kids

School 37, Novokuznetsk

When planning renovation of their school, the people at school #37 in Novokuznetsk decided that they wanted it done in the style of Soviet avant-garde. We used the works of Yakov Chernikhov as inspiration.
